Gospel artists win big at sold out Premier Gospel Award

Standout performances came from Volney Morgan & New Ye, Nadine Marshall, Rachel Kerr, Becca Folkes and Andrew Bello. It was a night for the history books too as legendary groups The Jordan Family and G Force took to the stage for their first performances in years.

The winners were chosen by a panel of industry experts, but two categories were chosen by Premier Gospel listeners; the Best Newcomer award by popular vote on the Premier Gospel website was presented to Purist Ogboi and the Best International award went to Travis Greene. Travis was unable to make the event due to touring commitments but sent us this video.

Sarah Teibo took home the much loved Best Album award, while Lurine Cato took home Best Female. Noel Robinson was your Best Male and Zoe Grace were chuffed to win Best Group just after their incredible performance. In what was his first eve award, Leke took home Best Song for his breakthrough hit Unstoppable.
