GOSPEL CHOIR to sing of the King

The King's Coronation is a momentous occasion steeped in history, tradition, and grandeur. This event marks the beginning of a new reign and symbolizes the passing of the mantle of leadership to the next monarch. In recent years, a key highlight of this spectacular ceremony has been the awe-inspiring musical performances, and this year promises to bring more of the same. In a post-ceremony show Mark De-lisser, an accomplished vocal coach, choir director, and arranger who has earned widespread acclaim for his worK, will take his choir to the stage on BBC One to sing for the King. He revels in an interview with Belinda on the Gospel breakfast show that the arrangement will include the likes of Lionel Richie and other singing legends. De-lisser, who arranged the choir for Harry and Meghans wedding, said he wasn't involved in the gospel choir singing on the day but recalls the time he had the gigantic task of arrange the choir for Harry and Meghans wedding, saying: "whoever's in charge of the gospel choir on the 6th, I'm praying for you. For me it was a really hard task but by Gods grace we got through it and it was a joy to behold on the day." Watch here: You can catch the post-ceremony show on BBC One on May 7th, 2023.
