Pharrell Williams brings Gospel Music to the Louis Vuitton Mens Spring-Summer 2024 Fashion Show in Paris

The worlds of fashion and gospel music have come together again through a joyful moment at the Louis Vuitton Mens Spring-Summer 2024 Fashion Show. Presented to a soundtrack produced by Pharrell Williams, one of the most successful music producers of the 21st century. This was Williams debut show as the new Creative Director for Menswear at Louis Vuitton, and it has already been marked as influential on pop culture today. From the perfect harmonies of the gospel choir as they sang about the joy of the Lord, to the diverse and inclusive range of models who walked on the runway.   This is not the first time gospel music and fashion have united to impact culture. Ralph Lauren Fall 2018 Show: For his 50th anniversary show, Ralph Lauren invited a 100-member gospel choir to perform as models displayed his iconic American designs. The memorable performance celebrated both the designer's storied career and the power of gospel music to bring people together.   5.Gucci Spring 2020 Show: Gucci's Spring 2020 show featured a moving gospel performance by singer-songwriter Moses Sumney. His soulful rendition of "Jerusalem" lent an emotional depth to the collection, which was inspired by themes of freedom and self-expression.   6. Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2016 Show: Tommy Hilfiger's Fall 2016 runway show, which celebrated the brand's collaboration with supermodel Gigi Hadid, featured a rousing gospel choir singing "Freedom!" Off-White Fall 2018 Show: Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Off-White, showcased his Fall 2018 collection to the sounds of a gospel choir singing "We Shall Overcome." Dior Men's Pre-Fall 2020 Show: Dior Men's Pre-Fall 2020 show in Miami was accompanied by a live gospel choir singing a medley of popular songs, including Beyonc's "Halo." Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 Show: Louis Vuitton's Spring 2019 runway show concluded with a triumphant gospel performance that brought the audience to its feet.
