Premier Gospel are excited to join a collection of playlist
curators on Apple Music in a campaign to put Black gospel and Christian artists at the forefront.
Being a UK based Christian radio station under the Premier Christian Communication group, we've been relied on for almost a decade by establishments like
MOBO &
BBC to give credible & decisive input when it comes to Gospel music.
We've championed rising talent and have an undeniable role in their journeys from obscurity to popular attention - some whos streams are in the millions. Artists such as
CalledOut Music,
The Kingdom Choir,
Limoblaze and
The Spirituals have been pushed by the station for many years.
The station reaches 1 million people each week and sees 500,000 people visiting the website to read about news, reviews and interviews.
As a new playlist curator on
Apple Music, Premier Gospel will be bringing together exciting sounds spanning across five different playlists. Each playlist will be crafted by experts in the field and showcasing some of the best in that genre.

PLAYA'S CHOICE- some of the biggest music stars in the world such as Stormzy, Burna Boy , Wizkid and Harry Styles music is being led by musicians from church. PLAYA'S CHOICE is where we meet these top musicians as they share their favourite gospel tunes. This move is just the beginning of the stations plans to push Black Christian music forward, we will hopefully expand on the list of playlists with new genres to really highlight some of the exciting Christian music on the scene.
To celebrate the launch The Spirituals will be performing live in the new Apple Store in White City store 5pm on December 8.
